Brandeis High School
Louis D. Brandeis High School is a place for students and faculty to come together in the pursuit of knowledge and technological advancement. Site easements and grading conditions determined the placement of the 3,000 student facility and its amenities required by the school district. KNRG Architects used the site conditions as a design advantage by utilizing high volume spaces and open courtyards at key locations, creating the opportunity for an open-air learning environment while providing windows and natural light to every classroom. Situated in the center of the school layout, the Administration area, Library and Commons help anchor the two-story classroom wings as well as provide a sense of direction for students. Louis D. Brandeis High School was the first wireless school for NISD.
