San Antonio Church

A San Antonio Church purchased a site with an existing building with plans to expand. KNRG Architects worked with the church leaders to design a renovation of the existing, approximately 8,000 sq. ft. building and an addition of about 12,000 sq. ft. for a prayer hall with classrooms to meet the needs of their local congregation.  Vernacular architecture was utilized in the design while incorporating specific religious parameters.  KNRG also created an exclusive symbol for this particular congregation to be strategically placed in the floors and on the walls throughout the building.  The symbol integrated distinct religious characteristics while remaining identifiable and adaptable wherever seen in the building. KNRG purposefully designed the arrangement and the adornment of the site and building to fulfill the ceremonious and religious requirements for the congregation.
