HEB Austin 14

The H-E-B in Cedar Park, an approximately 87,000 square foot mercantile store, is located about 16 miles northwest of Austin in a largely residential area.  To meet the growth and changes of the local community, H-E-B Austin 14 requested a plan for a contemporary façade and a comprehensive interior renovation of the existing 80,000 plus square foot structure.  KNRG Architects’ design transformed the front façade from the traditional brick exterior into two distinct glass entrances adding about 7,000 square feet.  The department remodels were accomplished while allowing the store to continually function and meet the needs of the surrounding community.  The scope of the work included in the budget allowed for the esthetic transformation of the façade, as well as, the modern remodel and improved flow within each department bringing H-E-B Austin 14 into alignment with the sophisticated suburban culture and expectations of the community.
