Clark High School Library

Tom C. Clark High School is one of thirteen high schools in Northside Independent School District. Clark High School opened in 1978 and currently enrolls about 2,800 students.  KNRG Architects renovated an existing 10,227 sq. ft. library area to meet the current NISD requirements for high school libraries.  The design incorporated a lounge style atmosphere while allowing visual openness of student activities.  The light panels on the ceiling provided pattern continuity enhancing the wall panels.  The wall panels were intentionally placed to display Clark High School accomplishments encouraging school wide pride.  KNRG Architects worked with all project team members and the district to finish the library within budget and during the scheduled summer timeframe.
